The buyer ______________________________ agrees to place nonrefundable deposit on a Haus Merkel puppy/Dog.  Male [  ] and/or  Female [  ] from the category of __________________ as referenced on the website www.hausmerkel.com/German_Shepherd_Puppies.htm   The Puppy and/or Puppies shall remain with “Breeder” until the Puppy or Puppies are  8 weeks of age.  Once buyer has chosen their Puppy/Puppies at 8 weeks of age they can leave the "Breeder" for the "Buyers" home.   If the buyer wants to pick up the Puppy/Puppies after 9 weeks of age an addendum to this contract would be added to include training and boarding for Puppy/Puppies over 9 weeks of age.  This added addendum will include the fees to be charged for those services.

DEPOSIT

(Surety of Action Deposit to purchase a puppy/dog from Haus Merkel German Shepherds) in the amount of $_______ (50% of the Purchase Price) is required to hold this Puppy or Puppies for the Buyer until date of Delivery.  There are no refunds on Deposits, unless otherwise agreed here in writing. Failure of the Buyer to  complete this purchase would subject Seller to lost opportunities to sell the Puppy/Puppies to some other Buyer  and retention of the Deposit is meant to compensate Seller for his possible loss. This deposit signifies the  intent on the part of the Buyer to follow through with the Purchase of this Puppy or Puppies.  If some tragic accident the Puppy/Puppies were to die or otherwise be seriously injured (life threatening) before it/they go to its new home then, the Deposit will be applied to another Puppy/Puppies, if  available, or to a puppy/dog from the next  available litter.

Buyer:  I am aware that my deposit amount of $ ______________is non refundable should I decide I do not want or am unable to take said Puppy/Puppies.

Breeder:   I will accept this deposit amount of $________________ to hold said Puppy/Puppies until it is at least 8 weeks old and no older than 9 weeks without an addendum for boarding and training.  If the puppy/dog should no longer be available due to illness or accident I agree to apply said deposit to another available puppy/Puppies from this litter or another available litter.  If buyer does not contact breeder for picking up the puppy/dog then Breeder has the right to move the deposit to a later litter and sell all puppies that have reached 9 weeks of age.
